St. Agnes School’s primary goal is to foster the faith formation, talents, and abilities of each student. This community provides a caring environment that promotes self-worth and cultural awareness. We are located in Concord. St. Agnes School opened its doors in 1967 under the direction of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Saint Agnes School is a family that supports one another. Students, parents, and educators alike do everything in their power to make God's love reign in our midst. We are a community rich in Catholic identity. We believe our parents are the primary teachers of their children in all religious and spiritual matters. It is from their words and actions that faith is caught, not taught. Our parents’ understanding of a loving God will resonate in their children's heart and soul and allow them to become peacemakers, peace-builders, and life-long learners. Our faculty is very dedicated to offering a variety of learning experiences. The students attend weekly PE, Spanish, and Music classes. The Junior High participates in an elective program as well. Our resource program, staffed by two teachers, helps to ensure we are addressing our students’ needs as they navigate through the learning process. Children meet weekly for PeaceBuilder assemblies or Buddy and Faith Family activities. The English Hand Bell Choir and Children’s Choir enhance our monthly liturgies and prayer services as well as actively participate in the annual Christmas and spring concerts. Saint Agnes School strives to graduate students who are faith-centered, conscientious, and academically prepared, lifelong learners who are able to communicate effectively and contribute generously in a diverse society. |
