School of the Madeleine is a Catholic elementary school with a vibrant Dominican tradition of education and service in the Diocese of Oakland. The mission of School of the Madeleine is to inspire students to grow as educated, morally informed individuals. The school community empowers and supports parents to fulfill their role as the primary moral educator. The school expects students to develop into young adults who are spiritually, academically, and socially prepared to become responsible citizens and leaders. Along with our commitment to Catholic education and a deep faith experience for all our students and families, the school offers cutting edge 21st Century technology in every classroom. iPads are issued to all of our 7th and 8th grade students for daily use inside and outside of class. iPads and interactive technology are used in every classroom to optimize the learning experience for every child. Our Fine Arts programs offer Music/Art for every child as well as Spanish language class K-8. The Madeleine has over 80 students participating in it its band. Academically, our students score very high and our graduates have close to a 100% success rate in gaining admission into the high school of their choice. The Madeleine has an outstanding parent community and our parent participation is always welcome and very high. |
